The Office

When iTouch Ltd of London EC2 received notice from the local council that a number of properties close to their offices had become residential flats it became apparent that the existing roof water chillier could only be operated during office hours.

Given iTouch is a leading Wireless Applications Service Provider and a 24hr business they decided to issue an order to L.F.L. for the installation of LG ceiling suspended heat pump systems operating on R407c to serve key areas within the UPS Room and 1st, 2nd Floor areas.

As diamond drilling and cranage were involved the L.F.L. installation team attended site out of hours to minimize any disruption to the clients business.

Given the number of LG units installed the L.F.L. electrical department installed an additional electrical distribution board at roof level in an IP65 enclosure dedicated to serving the extra split heat pump units.

All systems were pressure tested with Oxygen Free Nitrogen for 24hrs before being commissioned.

Upon completion iTouch Facilities Manager Rebecca Laver commented as to how pleased the company was with the performance of the equipment and the L.F.L. installation team.
